Isit true that eden 501 is too low a flowrate for the above mentioned chillers?
Has anyone tried the chiller ice probe by coolworks? was wondering if its good enough to bring down the temp to 24-25deg for a 1.5-2ft tank. |

i think the ice probe which uses tem technology is only suitable for tanks below 1 feet size.

at least it's what i realized the difference in monthly bill increment. but i want to restate this point that it is solely estimation.

I'm using Jebao 912 which is 1000L/hr so i think still can hit above the min flow for the chiller

it's around 70 litres. but i'm staying on high floor. so at night it's also rather windy and cooling. if you want to save money but don't mind the hassle, maybe can use chiller and fan at the same time.

I would have advice to purchase a chiller first hand unless it's only a few months old. Dun be budget constraint when ur buying equipment for ur tank.
