My green shrimp bred at temp of 28C without fan. And true they do breed easily.

Honestly I am a newbie. I only feed algae wafer and crab stick to the shrimps but I do notice shrimplets will move about in the tank looking for micro food source. Sometimes I find them picking food from the air driven sponge filter.

yeah leave them alone they will keep breeding...haha ermm there are...always in the buy n sell session...mostly are green shrimps to be given away.... my cherries are breeding alot as well..maybe we can exchange the off spring in future..change some colors... oh when it is pregnant u will be able to see the female carrying the eggs..just has enough moss to make it cozy will do, then a few days later u will see small tiny shrimps darting here n there....throw a crab cuisine in u see them all over it.....simple water change is sufficient as well.. im keeping my cherries in a 6 x 6 x 8 container...small with no air pump and nothing but filled with moss and hornswort, algae ball...thats all....and they are self sufficient on their own...very easy to maintain..no fan no nothing...maybe once a week remove 10% water thats all... keeping some cherries at my office too...in a even tiny table tank with just 4 pieces of them.... they are hardy.... |
