They look like tiger shrimps because of the stripes except with blue colour body. Nice looking shrimps. Hope to add in my collections.

they look so cool. if the soil is red they would be more striking, compared to using black.

they are considered true breed or cross breed?

It looked like blue tiger shrimp. Recently, I saw NA selling red tiger shrimp.

Anyway, hardy as cherry shrimp???

A few days I got some shrimps labelled as "Purple Zibar" from C328, selling at $5 per pc, quite ex. They looks a bit like reddish brown tiger, new breed of tiger?

Answering some of the enquiry:

It is Caridina cf. cantonensis sp. which means it is closely related to CRS, tiger shrimps. GES origin is not comfirm, it has been romour that it is breed from tiger shrimps, but how did the blue and especially the gold eyes occurred, it is as mystical as how CRS appear in the first place. You can see that they have tiger shrimp stripes on their body. As far as I know, they are true breed, but refined.

This is not Neocardina Blue shrimp which does not breed true and his very common in LFS. GES has a very high breed true rate in blue and 100% breed true in gold eyes.

Max size is about 3cm.

Very Generalied speaking, they are more hardy then CRS but not easy hard as Cherry.
