maybe i can share wif u something on AquaC.

-insump or outsump
-quiet operation
-does not need a pressure rated pump n does not need a needle wheel pump.
(plus pt is when pumps breaks down u can grab any pump)
-easy maintenance(oni need 2 clean the nozzle once in a while. nozzle easy 2 remove, juz unscrew)
-tuning the skimmer needs patience
-gives good quality n quantity skimmate
-collection cup n cover very easy 2 remove 4 cleaning.

err, wat else??

What kind of skimmer u looking for? Beckett, needlewheel or spray injection? My turboflotor multi sl also rated for 1000l.. haha.. the license to over-load
u also dunno what type to get...

needlewheel: very small bubbles
beckett: good but very power consuming...so i dont intend to use one
spray injection: just like what bro devil fire said

so now i am between a spray injection and needlewheel...

spray injection will require slightly higher wattage pumps than needlewheel... but less than beckett though...

the needlewheel may need to be replaced though... make sure u get a needlewheel skimmer that can have the parts easily available...

we find venturi in skimmers n needle wheel in pump.

HnS is venturi type skimmers n its aquabee is needle wheel type pump.

same goes 2 the new batch of macro.'

aquamedic is no different.

AquaC uses a pump of wattage rating of 35-45W. depending which model.
