i've used their S, M and now L sized before and they are my favourite hang on filter because of their silent sound and big spacious space.. maybe u should take apart ur filter to check the impeller. Nope no co2 as its supposed to be a low tech tank. Hopefully the jap hg will still be able to spread.

nice work!! but by keep the tank in the cabinet, wouldn't it affect ventilation and tank temp?

Thanks bro! theres 2 holes inside for canister filter piping, and theres a humidity absorber that can absorb 800ml of liquid, the fan is able to bring the tank down to 27C.

Do keep us updated on the JHG growth. No CO2 and LED lighting, will take awhile, to get it spreading?

Indeed. I last remember they will take ages to spread I am considering dosing seachem excel though.. For the led light should not be a problem since it's pretty strong.

bro, i think the filter guard's holes too big already, shrimplet can still go in. you can try find from seaview, they got sell smaller holes one, around 1 to 2 dollar only.

Its quite a waste to put a nice setup even tho small at the bottom. It should be seen at eye or waist level to be appreciated. Dun ya think?
