yeah, the aperture was wide to compensate for the low light and shuttle speed.

yes, it was low in light.

But one thing good (or bad) about using low light, it does not glorify the white by so much, or else the white part will look very flat.

hi bro , am a newbie here and using 350D , my comments on this pic.

a little under expose.
the shrimp is a little OO focus, seems the focus is more on the little white pebble in front of the CRS. digital photos are meant to be process anyway ...

may i know are u using the M mode or AV mode ? and also using what lens ?

hope u dun mind my comments...no offence intended.

Thank for the comment, I am hear to learn

I am using M mode. How can I get good focus? I alway have the problem.

this is the sad truth bro... no kit lense i have seen are sharp at widest aperture... you should try f/5.6 or f/8

no choice... if not all photos will be soft ... and most viewers will think it is blur

also, max your iso... steady your hands and shoot at 1/20 to 1/30....

add more tank lights from the top... or get a wireless flash

in anycase, your this photo is very good liao
