max size is 43cm. fahaka is the 2nd largest freshwater puffer.

Do a search on google bro....for freshwater puffers, or fahaka puffers.....you will find many informative sites.

the light looks like normal white light in yellowish water...

his new acquisition starting to makan liao... morning eat 1 more mealworm liao... and swimming around the tank le.. ... very potential fahaka... can try train pellets or MP liao...

the underside of this piece very swee... whole patch yellow...

dunno also... but the lighting effect similar to my other 2ft tank w "black water" .... the reflective base of the tank also plays a part... me just removed the black gravel from that tank... and the difference very significant...

so going "snailing" later?

hahahha... maybe the cray climb out liao?

yupz.. change from BQ to RQ? ... coral sand will alter pH? if neutral, put a DSB leh... then can see the fahaka dig and hide into it...
