Does yours looks something like the pic above? The difference should be the snout.
BTW malaysia dont have gold kelah and 1 LFS there refer yellowfin tinfoil barb as " GOLD kelah " when I ask if they have Gold Masheer.

It should also be noticed that the True Gold Mahseer is more elongate than most other Mahseer, only being comparable to the Tembat Red Mahseer in terms of slenderness.

Actually, I have already made a step to continue this enthusiasm couple days ago. I made this new start accompanied with Tor khudree, 2 variants of red (1 normal red & 3 tembat), N. stracheyi and temolehs etc.

how big does the putitoras need to get before the assume the golden hue? 10"?
anyone knows which lfs/bros sell putitoras?

They are pretty recent additions to my tank, I'm feeding hikari pellets, banana, watermelon, and MP.

I noticed mine turning slightly goldish when they were about 12"
