Seems like i have 2 Tiger and 1 melon snail...

Hmm, i noticed this very interesting thing about my melon / tiger snail(whateva it is ).. It will eat and eat and eat alot algae, then rest at 1 corner and starts pooing like crazy... then off it goes again to eat

Same as my ramshorns....no vegetation for it to eat now, so it is eating my drift wood and bog wood...then poo like crazy.....really alot!

Ah.. icic.. why you nv feed them plants? i think feed them decaying plants can le.. or fresh one also will become decay. Vegetable will rot and foul water.. but aqua plants are ok

They are in my 2ft cory and angel tank......used to have plants previously, but all died.....lighting not strong enough......have since changed to fake plants.

Oo.. in that case then no choice.. why dont u try pellets or wafers for the ramshorn, cause ur DW will looks ugly after all the bits n pieces come out

Actually its not that bad....they merely scrapes it...no major harm done.

breed snails really quite fun and easy.

now looking for more colourful ramshorn. dunno whether have or not.

i still trying to see if it eats the anubias..
hopefully not..

eggs still there..
non of the tank mates attacked so far

I think there are many variants of snails and other nicer variants of ramshorns not sold in lfs here......wonder if we can get blue ramshorns overseas....since they breed easily, getting them here and breeding them might prove fruitful? Or perhaps they cant tolerate the climate here, thats y no one breeds it successfully?
