I thinki depends on individual some just dun have e patience or just like big size ones....some like to see them grow from small.......

i do understand that watching them grow is good but not many people seam to keep them once they are 8-10inch and sell them on
i have just brought back a small ST i had at 3-4inch i grew it to 8-10inch then sold it on it was one of the only fish i have ever wished i never sold it just seams mad that people do all the hard work for others buy growing the tigers and getting them stable then selling them for somebody else to enjoy them dont get me wrong i dont mind it good for me that others want to grow tigers on then sell them as it saves me a few years work |

if u r changing lots of water and the water is v.cold... is best to add a heater coz if sudden drop of temp it's no good for ur fishes.. if u r changing abit then doesn't really matter..
