Warm welcome here! Tor Putitora 1inch to 12 inch mark took me about 2.5 years. I had to switch tank 3 times during this period. 1.5ft to 2ft to 4ft. The bigger it is the slower the grown rate. I pack him with lots of MP as his appetite increases with some quality pellets.

I also have a few pieces of black tail Tors that is starting to show deep blue colouration could possibly be a Tor Khudree. Grown rate for this one is painfully slow. 2 years only 3 to 4 inchers.

Mosal. Good growth rate like the Putitoras.

Very good start!
They eat a lot. Put in better filtration and aeriation. Their appetitie are affected when oxygen levels are down. As with most keepers of such fishes - i would recommend mixing them Thai blue kelahs.

Be prepared to see silver most of the time and friends asking why no colour for a few years.

I got 3 of these putitora recently and all 3 of them housed in a 3footer tank with other fishes. I only feed once a day and a weekly WC. They eat a lot and have grown a fairly bit since day 1.
Btw u have nice collection of rare masheers.
