They are also solitary creatures so a rough guide would be about 4 bleheris in a 4ft tank (with the exclusion of bottom dwellers) max in order to let them feel comfortable. They should stop hiding after that and display brighter colours.
thanks for the advise. i have a 2ft tank with a channa pulchra and bleheri in it, is it big enough? made a cave out of wood chunks for them, they seem to like it but still shy. sorry for my amateur questions, i want to learn more about them through experienced owners.

It's a channa bleheri bro. Stating to have clamped fins alrd.I did acclimating. Feed it with all the food i got. But looks like it's still a very stubborn fish. So i bought 1 more today. Maybe he's alone in the tank made him lonely ):

Its quite normal for channa to have clamp fins due to new environment(fish not yet stable).I strongly suggest that u house ur channa in a single species tank without any other kind of fish just him alone or with other channa. The tank should not have an aerator pump or filter.Just a bare tank with driftwood and some floating plants.Feeding wise u dn need to spoon feed him each time.Just throw in some live feeder to the tank.Example few baby guppy will do.U observe the feeder whether getting lesser or still the same.If getting lesser it means ur channa is eating.Observe it every morning when u wake up cos some channa only eats at night when the lights is off due to their predatory instinct. After ur channa has stable then only u can hand feed him with the feeder.
