Anyway, i just came back from NTUC. Saw the seafood section got these clams with shells on. They are still alive. Saw no one around, quickly took a plastic bag and dumped 2 of these clams inside. 2 clams nia how to buy rite? (regretted only took 2. Should have taken more)
Came back, pry the clams open (the meat is still moving), and threw into the tank. The red eyes and GSPs whack the meat! Remembered sis evian saying something about feeding half hum shell with meat, so wanted to try these clams instead. Hum too bloody liao. Anyway, these clams work great. Sorry for blur pic....DC no batt....cam phone cmi. Last edited by Occellatus; 10-12-2006 at 05:54 PM. |

gong gong's shell too thick. Dun think can. Also, the meat is all the way inside. Dun think they can reach. I wouldnt feed boiled mussels....i think fresh ones better...feed those with shells on so that they can scrape the meat out. Helps in keeping the teeth in check. U can try on ur fahaka bro...its bigger than my puffers, and it might be able to finish one mussel by itself! |

Anyway, I've rescaped my puffer tank. I've removed the BW. Dun look good. Chose fossil rocks instead. Will try to add more rocks, and then in goes the plants!
