Temperature swing (>2 degree) will likely kill all your crs/prl, especially on the 7th day without aircon. You may consider keeping neos as they are more hardy.

So after the soil. I let the water run. Then I plant the plants and other stuff like dw, etc rite

You nid cycle ur tank for awhile. For planting plants I think you mositen the whole batch of soil then plant em. Wait for 1-2weeks for them to grow roots then top up water slowly.
