Default My New 2Ft Hobby

Hi I'm new here and would like to get more info about my new found hobby.

Here are some pictures of my tank

Apparently I read somewhere that Crayfishes and Neon could be put together but regretted it.

Hi I would like to ask for help I bought 3 baby crab and 2 water plants. After putting them into my tank 1 small crayfish was behaving weirdly upside down and barely moving. Other 2 are behaving weirdly upside down and doing headstands. Is it because of the crab?

And then my shrimps in my breeding box died as well after I added a few new shrimps in.

Please help!!

Cannot place tetras and crayfish together, your tetras will become food for your crayfish. My friend's angel fish was decapitated.

not sure what happened but did you accidentally added some unquarantined livestocks into your tank causing an outbreak of disease?

or did you change water without water conditioner?
lastly, your crab might be attacking your crayfish too...

Btw, crayfish and crab can climb out of the tank via dritwood, hose etc.

Yea I regretted it after this batch of tetras I won't put anymore fishes in.

Other then the 3 crabs and a few glass shrimp no more livestock in it. I did put 2 plants in thou. Could it be the shrimps??

Yea but the tank is a little high so they won't be able to get out.

From the pixs ... it doesn't look good.

Any recent WC prior to the abnormal behaviour?

Nope none. But when I tried to scoop them out so I can put them into a breeding box they fight again my net and crawl away super fast.

Perhaps you can try for time being place the crayfishs in a container with minimum water (slightly below head)? Change the water 100% every 2 days so that they have a clean environment? I am actually doing this for my 2 crayfish place in a round container. But must cover as they will jump out if no cover.
