DIY fan for tank.

anybody can help do a DIY fan? wanna DIY 1 for my 4 ft tank..

what kind of fan do you intend to install?

have DIY 1 set contain of 3 x 8mm computer fan and using 2A DC adaptor for my 1.5 ft shrimp tank.

it work quite good for the first 6 months, able to decrease the temp 1 - 2 Celcius, except the water keep evaporating.

after 6 months the fan blade started to chip off, probably because of the cheap plastic material

and the fan started to slow down also.

and just 1 months ago (almost 1 year) the adaptor blow up, didn't know the reason for the blow up, but probably that because of over heating (never turn the fan off for 24 hours 1 days from first time

)
