snails for shrimp tank

anyone know what is the snail that is black and yellow in color and has a cone shape.

can be found at c328 at a small tank near the counter.

can they be kept with shrimps?

will they lay eggs on the glass?

you mean snail killer?

u mean Anetome Helena aka assassin/killer snails?they are meant to get rid of yr pest snails by eating thembreed very slow..i got 4 in my CRS tank

they will breed fast if you give them live food=p

not as fast as those pest snails especially MTS...they need male & female in order to breed also...if im not wrong they lay 1 egg at a time only

ya thanks. Did not know they are killer snails haha.

if there are no snails in the tank for them to feed, do they clear algae like other snails?

Are they also known as elephant snail?

They will eat up the leftover food that u feed to your crs...if im not wrong,they also help to clear your algae in the tank
