pic shows my new fr, installed and running smoothly.
i use pvc pipes instead of rubber hoses. and i connected the pipe directly to the pump for input.
the output is just another pipe into the tank.
i used a cable tie to tie the output part though. and teflon tape at the base.

initially wanted to remove the rubber connectors and fix pvc to it but very leh cheh and it would not be easy to shift the reactor around if i decided to hang it somewhere else later on.

have to admit my folly of using the mesh bag the other time. HAHAHAHAHa.
will measure po4 again.

Actually mesh bag should work lah... just that it takes a longer time and the aquaphos may not be fully utilized...

anyway, the pdt did not guarantee it will bring po4 down to a certain level at all. it merely says it can treat up to an amt of water.
treat does not connotate 0.03mg/l or anything.

I'm using Aquaphos. Yet to test the result cos i dont have a test kit now....

I'm using Aqua Phos with RM FR since late December
till now the PO4 reading remains at 0 using Salifert TK
But bcos of laziness throw all the 500ml to my FR for my 600L tank
so not sure of the actual effectiveness if follow the 500ml for 2000L guideline
will update again when the Aqua Phos exhuasted

tank wif lots of LPS and quite a number of fish
feed at least 4 cube of frozen shrimps per day
