Hi,

Those big white birds are cattle egrets which are very much acclimatized to our region. No, they are not migratory birds. They will stay whever they can find enough food to feed the whole flock. They abit shy when ppl walk near them.

Since you've noticed them, take it a little further. Have you noticed some with all white plumage? and some with a little crown or mane like a horse? Well, the all white are the females and the ones with the yellow nape feathers are the males.

I don't ususlly go chasing them, I 'hunt' them with my F5 Nikon with 300mm attachment. No need to go chasing them. hahaha....

Thau Ming

Thau Ming, hmmmm.... u really got patience...
Errrrr.... how abt a photo taking session for my son?
I took him once to the studio to take pics and he cry like nobody's business and the photograhper was on his wits end..!!
My boy doesnt like phot taking... even if it's taking photos at home, he's laughing happily and once he sees the camera "prroofff"..his face turn into expressionless....so if u can notice, all my pics of him doesnt have anyone which shows he's smiling or laughing.. either he hates the camera if not then he's trying to be real cool..

hahaha, bro you're damn fast, I keep reply here and there, me dizzy now. So, thinking to invest new equipment huh, 400 cannon is for those birdy stuffs , your job makes you more outdoor, I think you have chances to use those camera+cannon. Sooner you'll become a National Geographic Photographer (NGP).
