Can a fish tank cause nose allergy?

Looking for input on this question.

Can a fish tank in a room, cause nose allergic reaction such as runny nose or sneezing, to people in the room?

It appears that some people in the room are getting more instances of runny nose and sneezing, ever since the fish tank was setup.
Only happens in the room that the fish tank is in. Once walk out of the room, no more runny nose and sneezing.

Anyone having a similar experience?

I think is humidity in room from extra water entity....That cause that.
I also sensitive thus water tank only living rm

Hi,

Nope, no bloodworms.
Only using Hikari micro pellets and Seachem Prime

No smell coming from the water.
The only time there is a smell is when I put in Seachem Prime.
But the smell goes away after a few hours.

Can you tell me more about this?
Because this was raised up by the people in the room.
Saying that it is possible that the water evaporate from the fish tank, and makes the air in the room more "wet"
Thus, people with weaker noses, will start sneezing and getting runny nose in such an environment?

this is not a problem unless the person inside has sensitive nose or sinus issue.

eg like me, I easily get morning flu, rainy days flu , high moist area flu,
when I go dry humidity countries, I have v healthy nose :P

and if ur room is a/c, then not so bad as water evaporate got condense in ac coils and drain away in drain pipe as ac room normally is too dry.

Is your tank covered? Have a hood might help.
