Glass types ???

Experts,

Any idea whats the difference between "normal green tinted glass" and those "high quality " glass?

My current cabinet tank glass seems black tinted..

I am making a fgt with glass front panel... I saw the fgt tank glass seems like those green glass panel.

Any difference? ?

Hi, I'm no expert, but here's what i heard when i did mine:

Normal green glass: Most economical, slight tinge of green if thick (> 12mm)

Crystal glass: Most accurate color reproduction

Black tinted glass: Better for beneficial bacteria growth

Welcome bro, I would say not much difference, all boils down to personal color preference.

For me I actually like green color, so green glass goes fine with me.

Yes.. i am used to darker glass.. but the fgt maker does not have .. only have green ones. But the goodbthing abt this guy is the fgt rib can be built inside tank
