Default GREENHORN on shrimpkeeping :)

Hi all,

Just started out shrimps keeping. Below are the conditions of the Shrimps.
Please advise if you think i have did anything wrong. Thanks

Shrimps -10 Sakuras, 7-8 sakuras shrimplets , 3 CRS and 1 Rili.
Tank Size - very very small, 20 cm x 15 cm? i think
Live stocks - 3 of them, some are growing little greens
Temperature - 2 Fans - Day time 27+ degree / Night time 23 Degree
PH test kit - about 6.0 to 6.5 (just added a star moss hopefully it will increase to 6.5-7.0 Range)

Have no kit to test Nitrate/Nitrite, ammonia and GH. need to buy?

Sakuras and shrimplets has been for around 1 week.
Added in CRS and Rili for 3rd day now. They seems pretty stress when first introduced into the tank, i believe it gotta do with my lousy skill of climatizing it properly.

I have a question, temperature is fluctuating between morning and night, the temperature change is quite drastic, is it okay?

bro, i would suggest u remove the star moss. if i'm not wrong, it wouldn't last more than 2 or 3 mths, which may add on to ur nh3/nh4 when it start to rot.

correct me if i'm wrong.

I have star moss too in my tank. Maybe I should consider moving it too. Think it's been there for 3 months already.

Should be okie for your sakura but not for long term. I see Crs you will notice their colour start fading after sometimes. Meaning they are getting stress might encounter unknown death. Is best to keep the temp steady maybe 1-2 different.

Hi, I'm new with shrimps too

Just want to ask how does your fan setup look like? Or is it literally a fan blowing at your tank? Can share a pic?
