Is the thermometer reading 29.4 degree? What sort of shrimps are you looking forward to keep?

I think best if you can bring the temperature down to at least 28.

Can't quite see the details of the tank. Yes please bring the temp down to 26-28. You may try orange shrimps. I had the most luck with those cos I think they are easy to breed.

sorry, think due to my photo angle or some dirt, the temp actually is 25.4 without air con in office. when working time with air con, the temp is around 24 + / - abit. The highest i saw without air con so far is about 26.

I actually like fire red, like their intensive red colour on them... recently go through one of the bro thread, he have this 'yellow' shrimp.. look very nice too... either will mix them or pick one of them....

Nice planted tank, keep the front area bare, so that when you drop your food at this bare area, all the shrimps will come around, you will be able to adults and shrimplets.
Is that undergraval filtration ?

Yes, i have several yellow shrimps, looks really nice. The 'sunkist' shrimps from GC is also very cute. But yellow shrimps come in various shades, the lighter shades are not so attractive. Pick those with intense yellow, that's what I always do
