Default chiller n canister qns.

Hi all. I'll be getting Hailea 150A chiller with Eheim Eco Pro 2032 (500L/H) canister for my 1.5ft shrimp tank. Is this combination of chiller n canister ok? Thanks!

But I thot get 1 level higher than e suitable one? So if I get 150A, there will be lesser kick in and therefore save electricity. Am I right?

Moreover, e price difference of 150A n 130A is very little.

150A should be fine, can also consider for a larger tank in the future.

Both the canister and the chilller flow rate have to match. After filling in the media and connect the canister to chiller, the flow rate will significantly reduce. I heard it might cause the chiller to kick in more frequent unless use external probe. Hope some experts can advise on this.

Hi I am using H150A with a Jet cannister with a flow rate of 950L/h, so far works fine for my 3 feet tank, so your 500l/h is too slow for your chiller, and if you increase the flowrate, your tank current will increase, you need to get a balance between them.

I think your flowrate of Eheim 2032 will be too slow after adding in the media.
Do consider getting a one with a higher flow rate

Thanks all for ur comments! But if I get a higher flowrate (eg. 700 - 800L/H) canister, won't it be too strong for my 1.5ft tank? Later become like a washing machine. Haha!
