Lightbulb Any ways to improve the white???

I bought a few pieces of "SSS" grade a couple of months ago....the white used to look ok when young.

Now they are fully grown up but out of the batch 2 pieces almost loss the white...the white body turn out to be very very transparent...

Is there anyway to improve the white??? Or is it because of the parent's gene that cannot be improve???

If yours are very transparent, most likely your water and temperature are not that optimal. Try to improve on both area may help your crs to regain the white. If you leave them for too longer, then their white could no longer regain back to initial.

If that was the case, maybe their white gene were not that good. You may want to do selective breeding to breed out good white for next generation, just move the poorer ones to another tank.
