Not having any luck, help
I very new to keeping crayfish. One is molting and it's been three days, I moved him to his own tank so the other crays won't eat him but he has not moved in three days, is this normal? If I leave them in the other tank they will just get eaten. He looks dead and has not moved.
Any advice would be appreciated, I can't find much info on the net. |

Courtney, as advised in the other thread of yours, leave the crayfish in it's current tank, with a lot of hiding place. So long the tank is large enough (eg 2ft if you are keeping dawrf crayfish) and there are ample hiding spaces (eg pipes, rocks, driftwood, etc), they will be safe.
If they breed, it may be better to seperate the babies. Place those 'dividers' like thing (with square holes, that is of about 0.5cm height) so the babies can all hide in seperate holes. |
