Are you referring to this fish?

From my limited knowledge, all the above are male. They are bigger and very vibrant in colours. The female are smaller in size and have dull colours. They like to hang around plants in my tank. Seldom swim out in the open. Breeding wise, think U need to find a pair and some water plants. Have quality water and think they should breed bah.

Btw, U have female Drawf Gourami?

Female got very little color with big stomach. Just put together in a pair and they will breed. Need some floating plant like keeping bella. Best is to put them in a pail for breeding.

LFS only sell the males because the females look very dull. I once bought a bag of females at C328 - meant for feeding other fishes. Inequality of the sexes.

I recently went to Clement block 328 and pick 4pcs biggest & most striking colours one. Silly me only know all male after go home read up about this fish. How I wish I've picked 2male and 2female. Anyone willing to exchange the dull colour female for my bigger, more orange/red male?

Here's a pic of a female drawfs gourami. Had purchase 4males and 2females before. Now left 1pic female nia Not sure why, all died. I'm puzzles. Btw, they are kept in a community tank with other tankmate. No casuality on other species. No injury on the dead bodies too.
