Got my macro a month back at about 5"...growth rate not surprisingly is one of the fastest I have seen even compared to catfish...I feed the fella once a day with live food...he seems to be partial to platys and ghost shrimp...like all hoplias extremely aggressive...took a chunk out of my 8" African Pike's tail within 2 weeks of living in the main tank...now living by himself in a 2x2x2 tank...bound to outgrow it sooner or later...close to 7.5" now within juz a month...
