Oh ok, will think about it. Its been one full day and the shrimps are doing fine. However, there are quite alot of small white worms all over the tank.

I have come to believe that these white worms are a result of over-feeding.

Yes, I believe so. Could have left a little bit of food there for too long. Any idea how to get rid of the worms?

Are the small white worms the same as the picture in the link DarkMind posted? If they are, those are not planaria. They are just common nematodes found in every aquarium. In a fish tank, you don't usually see them because they're food for the fish.. but, as a shrimper I'm sure you don't add any fish in your setup.

I recommend adding a few boraras briggitae, they're shrimplet safe. I have 4 of them in each partition, and 1 in each breeding box, even the one reserved for my crs mamas to release her shrimplets

Very important in shrimp keeping, discard all your knowhow in fish keeping. Shrimps and fishes are totally different. Start afresh. Start by reading up. A lot of info are available here if you bother to search.

Erm, I had to go back to camp and I couldnt think of a better solution so I added a really small guppy into the tank with my shrimps. It is smaller than my shrimps. My berried mamas arent ready to give birth yet, so I decided to add the guppy to eat the worms.

Apparently, I believe my tank has become rather sustainable and I only top up dechlorinated water. The worms that I have in the tank have reduced slightly because of my shrimps. I refused to put food into the tank recently because the shrimps were not attracted to the food. They were just scavenging and eating everything on the ground which is in its path such as the worms. Today, I also noticed two molted shells in the tank which means my water conditions are ok??? Do I siphon out the molted shells???
