hey bro.. i think the reason y they sell females only is because females colour are much better than males and can grow to a bigger size for viewing. btw its all the same if they only just sell u one sex. if they only sell males that will be quite sad..

after all these comments, went back to catch 5 berried mamas 2 days ago and keep them in a container with the water from the LFS.

noticed that there are quite a number of babies swimming in the container liao.. hehe

Ya. Usually either they are berried or there are already shrimplets swimming in the bag.

Usually those Fire Red we get from LFS are pretty big and old liao. If want to buy, must get those berried or those with shrimplets swimming in the bag one. if not it may be too late to breed them in your own tank.

i went to buy a bag of fire red shrimps too, notice some they have a line on it's back while some don't . Is this just some of the random "design" fre red shrimps have?
