6inc. Tks for viewing.

Cher boon,
Better desperate if they are enemies.

I had abt 10 red lobster babies , and some adults.
Now left 6-7 of them
The older ones were eaten up or attacked left with one arm.
Some of them eat goldfish and small frogs...

Tiong Bahru LFS sold me one with 1 arm said will grow back,
now already more than 7mths still havnt grow back...sianz

Hi Alan, u are right they cannot comm unless ur tank big enough n have many hiding place. My robster was only pcs in my tank. Is true that the arm will grow back but need long time, my office one take about two months to grow back the one arm.

Hi cher boon,

Not sure if my observations are right.

I have 3 feet tank lots of hiding corners , still cannabnise each other.

Now I try and seperate them ,if peaceful I keep them toghtr.
If any display aggressive behaviour , I put him in isolation.

My lobster's arm for more than 9mths still missing, growing very slow.

What did u feed your lobster to make his arm grow faster?

Alan

^This is how to tell

But this method doesn't work for Cherax (Yabby) because male and female don't have that thing there.

From the pics it looks like male
