Yes work like those gas chiller can hook thru canister or pump but u need to calculate the flow too fast (water will not cool enough) too slow hmm not sure what might happen

1)colourful (reasonable)
2)c328 (reasonable)
3)y618 (reasonable but uncle can be damn long winded)
4)seaview (abit ex no discount for chiller)
5)petmart (so so need to check with the boss whom always not around)
6)open market 2nd hand (but pls check and ensure it is working some leak due to corrosion,some may be out of gas, some use in saltwater tank etc. just protect yourself when u get from open market unless the bro is very much trusted by u)

what is the actual dimension of your tank? or how many litres its holding?

i'm actually using dolphin 788 for my 60x25x28cm (around 42 litres ) scape tank and able to have temperature of 24.5-26 degree for the past 1-2 months. Light is 2 x 24watt T5HO. canister is dolphin c500.



2 of my lower grade CRS just bellied over the weekend.

If it is 80 or 100 u can invest to try it out. But if it is 200 advise save up abit invest in a gas chiller confirm worth your while not to mention u can bring down the temp so much lower than dolphin tem which very much depend on the Room temp and the water temp in your tank.

mine is a 1.5x0.8x0.8ft tank only. hm....... wat is the flow rate of your C500?

sorry wrong info. its CF-600. flow rate of 720LPH divide by 2 (around 360LPH) due to the amount of media i put in it. and i actually used smaller pipes.

It does depend the space allow for the chiller set up, definitely need to allocate space for a chiller and return pump for ur chiller. Iceprobe doesn't need much space and it is use on OHF.
