i think the JHG is actually normal hair grass isn't it? im just learning how to differentiate JHG from the normal ones.

very detail thread and nice setup bro. suggest needa cover ur filter with sponge? to prevent shrimplets being suck in. in case there is any in future.

bro, jap HG would be shorter than normal HG and when the grow they curl downwards. HG on the other hand can grow quite tall. Mine is around 7cm tall...
