nice specimen... could see that it is quite active...
normally AST will stone in one corner for a whole day... suppose to open its mouth to lure fish with its bait-like tongue, but never see it open before... |

Yes it was pretty active. I guess looking for prey but isn't any. Most of the tank mates were more than 2' long and keeping a distance away.

yeah... there are 2 in the zoo if i didn't see wrongly.
i won't keep these even if they are legal in sg. too big and too dangerous... |

ahha yar....damm unique. another cool turtle is the mata mata....damm unique looking also. that one zoo dun have though.....both are great at camouflage.
