Thinking of setting it lower to 24 degrees.

just monitor the chiller on and off time to cool a 2ft x 1.5ft x 1ft tank

set the external thermostat temp at 25 deg. with +/- 0.5 deg range.

when temp hit 25.5 deg the chiller will kick in and run for 48min.
cool to 24.5 deg and chiller will off for 1hr and 10min.

is this normal?
where do u get the external thermostat temp?

ask bioplast to do for you. they are location opposide boon keng mrt.

have you get a more accurate thermometer to measure your tank temp?

Hailea150A the temperature sensor is measuring the water that is chilled internally. not your tank water temperature.

the external thermostat module is connected to the hailea150A power outlet and measure my tank water and turn on/off the chiller.

i ask bioplast to disconnect the module on the hailea150A already.

cannot be that hailea150A can cool your tank so fast. it is a china brand and your chiller run for 5min and off for 1 hr?
maybe there is something wrong with your temperature sensor internally.

unless your tank is very very small.

Wow... my tank is 2 feet by 1.5 feet by 1 feet.... should be the same as urs rite?

I got a mecury thermometer inside the tank which gives off about the same reading as the chiller.

How much did u pay to add the external thermostat can pm me?

what canister you are using?

58L of water cannot be that it take only 5mins to chill with a Hailea150A.

chill from what degrees to what degrees?
