are these enough to cycle the tank?
sorry i repost this in new topic cos more relevant..
am collecting my tank, canister filter and light later on.. did some searches so just wanna check if the things i needed is enough (its for cherries and future crs tank setup.. ) -1.5ft tank -eden 501 canister filter -bio homme (red or white one?) -maybe sponge for the filter inlet in the tank -lights -seachem prime anti chloride -mosura bt9 -mosura old sea mud -thermometer (from daiso one can?) -contemplating between soil or black quartz -moss/plants & DW are these enough? can i add everything in when cycling of tank? thx in advance for valuable advices... |

what do u mean by enough ? if u keeping CRS , then chiller is good as they require lower temps ...
and if u use soil , then u can use it to cycle the tank for about 3-4 weeks before adding life stock , read FAQs for more info |

I mean like do u need anymore additives or anything? hmmm.. if use quartz then cycle lesser weeks issit? I am keeping cherries first.. chiller wil be in the future.. >.<

In fact a tank and filter are enough. What kind live stocks are you eyeing? Shrimp, fish, type of plants? your lights and other stuff depend on that.
