Soft Shell Turtle
Thought only one type of tortise is sellable in Singapore until i saw this in newspaper.

I think this is sold for makan one right? to make turtle soup type...saw them selling in seng shiong b4...but have to becareful....they bite.

i think there is a difference between those sold for ornamental (pet) industry and for food..

they r freshwater type
not sure abt the size sold though. if u do buy them n keep it alive, u can have a shallow basin put some gravel and keep the water level low. throw in some feeders n see it in action. the softshell turtle will also take occasional breathes thru extending its neck! |
