Default Need Help: Worms on shrimp

Guys....

mind to help me to identify the death of this shrimp?

i found a wormy things ...(parasite???) at below my shrimp right leg...

after i operation... i manage to take out the worm and as picture below..

please advice.... will it affect my whole tank....??

it seems to me that the parasite was there after your shrimp died
correct me if i am wrong . it doesnt seem to have wound to me. looks like a parameter problem

It's quite common to such worms which attach itself on the head or under caraspace, half of the worms sticking out on wild caught shrimps.

How did you remove it?

The shirmp its still alive, den suddenly it stop moving.. den i curious and take it out, den suddenly i saw something move....

i remove it by 2 niddle, slowly tick it out...

dunno the shrimp is alive or not.....

how do those worm come??

maybe u can add some salt to prevent others from having it,but not sure if will affect shrimp. i may be rong

Used to have this prob, try to needle out (sound doc! Probaby need to put under microscope to do such operation, hand shaking then eyeballs super stress). In the end intro 1 or 2 guppies fry, settle.

yea... my hand keep shaking and my eyes keep focus on it, the worm still move here n there, try to seek another life object,

summore... its blue shrimp mama....T.T sad.....

i scare my tank kena infected by this worm...

wat is the solution??
