Terrapin Thread
I have a small lil terrapin with me now, and I'm keeping it in a container with some water and a stone for it to perch on.
I dropped some floating pellets and it started to eat after a few days. Any bros with experiences in terrapin to share? I know its fairly easy to keep them, but would like to know more so as to provide a better living environment for them. Thanks bros. |

Give them sunlight.. they are aka sun worshipers
Give them meaty food when young.. more greens when it grows bigger.. Give them calcium supplement for shell growth.. Give them lots of TLC.. imo.. young 1 below 4inches are very prone to sickness.. |

Clean water is important especially when the terrapin is young. Remove any excess pellet food. My experience is that the terrapin will grow rapidly if fed on pellet and other meaty food. You may not want your terrapin to grow too fast as terrapin don't look as nice as when they are young. May end up releasing them into the reservoirs.
