My dwarf puffer goes for blood or the tubiflex worms. They do not go for fish food.

I think bro natsuboku means he drops in the hikari pellets for his CRS, and the snails dun go anywhere near to it.

Hmm.. seems like the snails are mostly cleared, will leave the puffer in the tank for another 2 days or so. The tank is heavily planted + the puffers are much smaller den my tetras, they aren't doing any harm to the tetras at the moment.

Any bros out there wants the puffers? Occellatus, if u want, I shall put your name 1st on my reserve list

Hi,

I would recommend you to keep the DP for about a week. I had some DP donars that required their DPs back as after a few days, the hidden snails hatch and ur problem is back again.

But Dwarf puffers are devils. They pratically bite anything even bettas. BTW Shrimps are DP's fav food....once they realise it....

FYI, I feed by REs and DP with green crystal shrimps, cherry shrimps and CRS (cheap ones during the M'sia flooding). Bloodworm would only divert their attention but U'll almost never know when they grow hungry or what happens at night.

one way is to keep the DP in a seperate tank, float a lettuce leaf in ur tank as it attracts snails, if possible, tie it to the side and hopefully the snails lay their eggs on the underside when eating and u'll be clear from the snails. Else just keep clearing...
