Soak the DW completely in boiling water and let in cool down for 2 days and repeat process again. After a week the DW shd sink by it self. Boiling water helps kill any parasites the DW may hve and also draw out the tea color so that when u put the DW, your tank water is not very yellow.

I also tried this method but couldn't soak in boiling water cos it's too big to fit any container. Will just leave the bag of CR there till it sinks.
