hydra's natural enemies
great pond snail 3 spot gourami swordtail molly ( not very sure. serveral websites said so.) hydra's weakness Fenbendazole hydra's pattern likes light - maybe shine your tank at certain spots only. then wipe it off. hydra methods to getting rid without harming the shrimps. suck them up with an air tube everytime you see them. i think lets not try the chemical way. someone in shrimpnow reported after use of fenbendazole, the cherry shrimps did not berry for awhile after tt. fenbendazole seems not very dissolvable in water as reported by another forum. then the main question was posed that will the residue of the chemical pose any problems in future. so.. i think tearing down is the best if really want to rid the hydra. coz if still left one.. it can still reproduce thru budding. i wonder if they can get sucked into the filter and reproduce there!? now im just being paranoid. |
