Default Help on lowering Ph

hi,

i started cycling a 1.5 ft tank 1 week ago for rearin crs
i notice that my Ph level is constant at 7.2-7.3
i have no idea on how to lower my Ph to around 6.5.
i using black angel soil.
as i using a cannister,i dun wan to open it up again to add media to lower ph coz of the ehiem tube.there's once i nth to do i squezze the tube, omg white thingy clouded my tank.
Also i dont wan to add chemical to lower the ph as this is only short time solution and i not sure shrimp and the BB will take it.
So anyone can advise me on this problem??

Really need help alot.

Thanks in Advance
