I realise using tank water instead of direct tap water makes them last longer... My observation though

Only when they turn darker color then it will die one by one.
Most important is to change water, best is to use fish tank water or old water.

Rinse them daily under tap water & also clean the tank from their urine. another thing that can keep them alive is by feeding them tubifex worm.

dun Zap me for this.

tap got chlorine, surely isnt good.

imo use tank water, keep them in large container, with reasonable opening for air to circulate (bigger the better)

keep at cool area.

hot weather might explain the higher death toll of feeder bullfrogs from my past exp.

Agreed, tank water already treated. Frogs need clean water as their skin aborbs needs to "breath" thats why many recommend changing water.

Notice mine, those thin ones normally seems to die faster than those fat ones. Is it only me?
