KBL vs Nile Perch
Just to share my 2 fishes Is the Perch purchased 2 weeks ago really worth $48 compared to my yesterday's acquired $6 KBL?

Both looks alike.
Btw, the normal KBL eyes also in red color right? I like the way they eat, can hear the "pok pok" sound. |

perch when his top fin open up is long and sharp and when he stable u can see his body comes with a beautiful marking and pattern . bro u have a nice perch CHEERS ...

Bought from Blk 217(dont know the name) opposite of Shunqun Sec Sch in Jurong East Ave1 and its about 4 inch
A word of caution, the state of the Kims down there is not so good with sunken stomach but maybe its a norm when its not fed. I chose quite a nice piece actually |

Bro i saw some at aquastar some day ago i only saw the front view of the fish , could u take a front view photo ? if it is kbl that i saw den i am going to buy them ! and one more question do they get scared when u walk pass the tank ?

The difference between kim and nile perch is the dorsal fin and the body pattern. Plus nile perch can grow to a much colossus size than the kim if given the space and diet.

Bro thanks for the photo , it was kim that i saw at aquastar and chongpang , condition quite good , just when to check on them yesterday .

I think the background of the tank play a part too.
Mine perch keep in a black oyama tank, look very stable, but always shows deep copper color I don't know why |
