normally for china chiller, the 1st to spoilt will be the thermostat.
maybe an external thermostat can solve your problem. What you need to do is to disconnect the power cable to the controller and use the external thermostat controller to programe. firstly, when you power on the chiller now, does the controller show the correct temperature? if it shows a very high or very low temp, this will confirm that your thermostat is spoilt. |

You may want to check that your pump is pumping sufficiently, as the chiller will run continuously and heats up when the pump is not pumping sufficiently. I had a previous bad experience when my pump failed and the chiller heats up but the tank water does not get chilled. (By the way, what pump are you using? Does it match the required flowrate of the chiller?)
As for the fan, I believe you should be able to either hear the motor sound (basically the main component in the chiller that creates noise) or if open the air filter cover you may be able to see the fan/feel the airflow. Hope it helps. Good luck. |

Hi bro. I'm not surprised. I'm using hailea 150 too. My chiller same like yours as well just breakdown 1 week ago. Set at 25 and woke up suddenly my chiller can't cool it down. Can hear the motor and pump running for 5 mins then suddenly it stops running but still can hear like running water through the chiller. Then the running will stop after 5 to 10mins and whole process will trigger after 5 mins of cooldown. During the running my chiller feels hot as well. This happens exactly after 6 months of warranty. Gonna call Aquaspans and let's see what they quote me. Remember the guy is call David. Will post here and let TS knows the costs. Gonna be the last time buying a china brand chiller.

For china chiller fan is 1st to spoil. thermostat is already not as efficient to begin with. If you have placed ur chiller air outflow against the wall, most prob ur fan died or something inside overheated. the latter is a gone case.
