Normaly ppl using external filter like ehiem to pump the water out from tank to filter then connect the outlet to chiller then from chiller back to the tank.

oops.. lol.. that soil is oso ok i suppose?

btw.. i went to the crs shop recently... a few of their tank is quite cloudy.. and i asked them why.. the guy told me they are cycling their tank.. because just change the soil bedding... so i ask him.. cycling water can put shrimps meh? he said yes....

so my qns is.. during cycling of tank.. oso can put shrimps in?

um.. talking about water parameters... i only know for nitrate, if its too high, should do water change to lower the nitrate.. for the rest?

ph too high/low.. wad to do?
nitrite too high/low.. wad to do?
ammonia too high/low.. wad to do?

sorry if it seems abit noob.. which i am... =x please direct me to the correct place if already posted before.. thanks...

or any other things i should get together so can fix those prob in case its out of balance...

That soil is ok, cos i using for 2 tank 2ft with yellow, sakura & low grade CRS.

lol.....for me cycling time i dun dare to put any shrimp in...maybe some expert could help in this.

I saw their tank water also when i was there to buy some BB.

um.. by the way.. hope someone can answer this qns too... my current tank is at 28 degrees with a fan running.. i suppose getting a chiller is a better solution in the lowering of temperature and maintaining the temperature..

but.. i know nothing about chiller... all i heard was chiller need a pump to pump water out to go thru chiller.. can someone advise wad are the equipments needed and the setup etc... ?? filter?? anyone got any diagram or pictures to show me? :P

My 3ft tank is running wif Ehiem 2026, chiller CL280. Picture for ur info.

thank you so much for the picture so i suppose the black box is the ehiem 2026, which is the pump and filter? water gets pumped out, go thru the black box, gets filtered, then go to chiller at the left, before going back to the tank?
