Shrimp Rack Setup: What will you setup with these equipment for CRS?
3ft x 1.5ft width stand
Eheim 2026 1000L/H canister Hailea 1/10HP Chiller Will be getting a 3ft x 1.5ft stand and will be using the 3ft x 1.5ft space on top tier. Bottom tier will be used to put chiller and canister. will be using 10mm glass to maintain water temp better. Plan A: 10mm glass 3 ft x 1.5ft x 1.3ft tank (for CRS) Plan B: 10mm glass 2ft x 1.5ft x 1.3ft tank (for CRS) + another tank 1ft x 1.5ft (for other shrimp) Plan C: 10mm glass 1.5ft x 1.5ft x 1.3ft tank (for CRS) + another tank 1.5ft x 1.5ft (for other shrimp) considering the above with the chiller running time. I assume that if i am using Plan C, 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank with 10mm glass, the time taken for the chiller to kick in again will be longer. Which will you go for if you have a choice? |

I'll would choose Plan B.
Reasons( What I think ) 1) 2ft tank for CRS would be better as the water parameters are much more stable. 2) The other tank for other shrimps or I could house it with the baby CRS as nursery or rather selective breeding. Thus, the 2ft tank would be mixed grades of CRS. Just sharing my thoughts Hey bro, decided not to stop CRS? Yay! |

thinking of resetting up the tank out of my room.
hot weather recently plus the chiller, room starts to feel warm. also thinking of using Ada soil, gex red packet seems not so good for CRS. also glass tank thinking of using thick glass to maintain cooler temperature. 10mm glass. wanting to do everything nicely again. |
