i know it's a bit crude, but when I had the same problem I just turned on my equipments 1 at a time. But instead of waiting for a power trip I used a cheap multimeter and see which one cold detect the small AC voltage in the water.

however...i made a mistake just now...it i offed the chiller instead...not the return pump anyway...when i use the mutlimeter to test with all the pumps off..i registered a reading...and after that, every pump i on, the reading increases a little ..but when i on the chiller, the reading decreases so how to tell what the problem is? my dad then use a test pen to place at the ground plug of the chiller and on every equipment...only when the UV is on then the test pen lights up..but after offing the test pen...still trip...then off the pump for the chiller, still trip... any one can help? |
