DIY 4Ft T5 x 4tubes

Finally, done my diy T5.

Materials:

1no x Shoe rack from ikea.
2nos x dual 54W e-ballast
2nos x aquaz actinic blue
2nos x aquaz 20000k
4nos x aquaz reflectors
2nos x fan

Pls comments.

hrmm .. not bad. I thought of doing something similar too .. maybe I should go ikea's DIY corner for ideas!

by the way, how you hang your MH bro ?

Looks good.. but it will look even better if the hanging material is using metal wire..like those they use to hang MH.

Hmmm wads the difference between the ebiru ballast that you use and those volloslov(dunno how to spell), osrams ones that cost 2 to 3 times more?

I think the osram and the v.....ballast got the pre heat function to warm up the T5 before lighting it up..as compare to the ebiru one. supposely can help to extend the lifespan of T5 last longer..

It used to be important when T5 tubes cost $50-$80 each. Now pricings are so low that it may not justify for the cost of the preheat eballast.
